OBSA BASEBALL BAT REGULATIONS
Baseball players may use the following bats for practice, or during games for the 2024 season.
- “USA” Labeled bats no larger than 2 5/8” barrel and no smaller than 2 1/4” barrel
- No TPR or USSSA BPF 1.2 bats will be permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Bat MUST have “USA” bat label on it! (All Baseball Divisions including Intro Coach Pitch, Rookie, Minors, Majors and Babe Ruth)*Babe Ruth Baseball Division use bats labeled with the “BBCOR” stamp with a rating of no lower than -3 (drop 3) no larger than 2 5/8”. NOTE: 2 3/4″ bats with any variety of stamp or label are NOT approved for use in OBSA local or district play. All bats with stamps that are not legible or removed are deemed as “not approved” and will be removed from play and penalties during play may be applied as per Cal Ripken Babe Ruth league Regulations!

Fast pitch labeled bats 2 ¼” diameter barrel

“T-Ball” Labeled bats
“USA” labeled bats are preferred
